Job Title: Lead Purchased Power Semiconductor Division/Department: Technical Development Location: Tianjin Your Responsibilities: * Specification, characterization, simulation and validation of power semiconductors (SiC MOSFET, GaN, IGBT etc.) in power modules for PWR * Evaluate the usability of power semiconductors by coordinating with different suppliers * Peripheral design (substrate layout, gate driver connection, AVT, etc.) for power semiconductors * Support in the analysis of anomalies with semiconductors as well as in the planning and design of a strategic semiconductor portfolio and its implementation in current and future pulse inverters * Evaluation of new semiconductor technologies for robust use in motor vehicles as well as establishment and maintenance of a network with international semiconductor companies, standardization bodies, research institutions and experts * Timeline Adherence: Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams to ensure power semiconductors are delivered on time to meet project deadlines. * Analysis: Conduct market research and analyze industry trends to identify new power semiconductor technologies and suppliers, as well as potential risks and opportunities. * Reporting: Prepare regular reports on power semiconductor performance, and costs, presenting findings and recommendations to management Our Requirements: * Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, physics or a related field. * Minimum of 7 years' experience in power semiconductor (SiC, GaN, IGBT etc.) * Chinese and English (fluent), German is a plus. * Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to effectively negotiate with suppliers. * Ability to work effectively in a team environment and demonstrate leadership qualities. * Familiarity with power semiconductor industry trends and technologies. * Proficiency in MS Office and other relevant software tools. * Integrity and value-driven working style, compliant to rules and regulation. * Remain accountable when mistake happens and be able to speak up if something goes wrong.
